Dan’s work on the web began with SEO. Back in 2002 he was doing online marketing for the travel, publishing and telecommunications sectors, working mainly on traffic generation through search, email and paid channels. Doubling down on the travel sector, Dan was managing director at CWT Digital for 6 years, a web development agency specialising in the travel industry. As well as attending plenty of travel-related events, Dan also hosted an annual travel conference as part of Brighton Digital Festival held at The Old Courtroom in Brighton.

Now at Clearleft, Dan makes sure the team here have a steady pipeline of exciting projects. He works with the team to find answers and solve those problems through research, content, design and consultancy.

Away from the office

Dan’s a bit of a music geek and likes collecting vinyl (bloomin’ hipster). He’s got a good collection of electronic music, but has recently started to collect Northern Soul 45s. He loves a festival, and goes to Glastonbury every year (when he can get tickets). A proud Brightonian, Dan has supported his local football team, Brighton and Hove Albion, since he was a kid. His own two kids also keep Dan very busy.
