What do you do?

I’m the Studio Manager, so the office organisational bunny. And I make sure everyone has a proper daily intake of tea.

What do you do when you’re not doing that?

I love to write, and I’ve dabbled in stand up comedy. I also like to gad to gigs and the cinema as often as I can.

Favourite city and why?

That would have to be New York. I lived there for many years and (corny but true) it’s got an indefinable magic—so vibrant, and it really is everything you could want it to be.

Favourite food?

I’ll eat all sorts but really I’m a home grub kind of girl, so a nice roast dinner or (eek) pie ‘n’ mash. Basically anything with potatoes.

What did you want to be when you were at school?

I really wanted to write for Smash Hits, which was my most formative influence (and I could just imagine gadding ‘round Topshop in my lunch hour with the gals from the Human League).

Best thing about the internet?

All the information you could want right at your fingertips.

Worst thing about the internet?

The hours spent addling your brain with online nonsense when you could be doing something more interesting instead.

In my past life I was a film lass. Some Clearlefties are particularly tickled that I worked on the illustrious Spice Girls movie.
