A little bit more about James…

What is your name?

James Box

What do you do?

Little bit of this (information architecture) and little bit of that (interaction design).

What do you do when you’re not doing that?

Be a Daddy mainly although Golf is where I escape (despite my colleagues’ constant derision).

Favourite food?

Italian cuisine normally wins (unless it includes anything that once swam).

Favourite city and why?

Love London—it’s embedded somewhere deep in my psyche. Barcelona, Amsterdam and New York are up there too.

What did you want to be when you were at school?

Lots of things…most of them involving sport. But mainly, Danny Champion of the World.

Worst thing about the internet?

I read books less.

Tell us something we don’t know about you…

My Great, Great, Great, Great Great Grandfather was William Ince—who was a famous furniture designer and Thomas Chippendale’s great rival.
