For the last 19 years she has worked across a wide spectrum of projects and project roles – from programme management, process improvement, project management and business analysis, through to scrum delivery and product ownership.
A certified scrum master
She has always believed that working out what users need and delivering from there was a natural starting place for any successful project. Her “why not just ask users what they want and get them involved early on?” attitude makes her a great ally to the design process.
In fact it was her interest in user-centred design which led her into scrum mastery and product ownership (including winning the DevOps Industry Awards Agile Practitioners of the Year), and on to join the team at Clearleft.
Away from the studio
She’s an avid lover of music and can always be found either listening to it, watching it, dancing to it, singing it and playing it (badly). She loves festivals, anything outdoors, vintage fashion and yoga.
Her biggest passion is travel and any spare holiday time is used adventuring in a far flung corner. Helen recently spent three bucket-list weeks in Madagascar diving and spotting lemurs. Although, her latest adventure is starting much closer to home as she’s about to get stuck into the full renovation of her 16th Century Sussex cottage — possibly the biggest test of her project management skills yet!
