It's been a long time since we were initially due to hold our inaugural Leading Design San Francisco back in 2020. So much has happened since then. The world has changed, working life has changed, we’re all a little bit older - and hopefully a little bit wiser.
Earlier in the year we were able to restart our conferences for global design leaders. It felt important to have this platform to enable our community to come together, to share with their peers and discuss the real challenges they face as design leaders.
In New York in March this year we took the opportunity to reflect on the difficult times we’ve faced. Then, just a few weeks ago in London, we focused the conference on empowerment, and taking agency in the present. We are delighted to be coming back to San Francisco in February when we can fix our sights on the future - and what we can do as leaders to shape the industry for a healthier, more ethical, more rewarding working life.
No doubt there are more difficult times ahead, but by providing this designated, intimate space for design leaders to gather with their peers, and hear practical and inspiring talks, we hope to be able to set you up for the future, whatever it may hold.
Of course there’ll also be all the usual things you’d expect from a Leading Design conference… great coffee, delicious food, and the chance to connect with your peers over a cocktail/mocktail at the end of the day.
