- Erik Spiekermann (Edenspiekermann)
- Mark Boulton (Five Simple Steps)
- Gerry Leonidas (University of Reading)
- Nina Stössinger (FontFont)
- Ben Terrett (UK Government Design Service)
- Kutlu Çanlıoğlu (BBC)
- Andy Hume (Guardian Newspapers)
- Jenn Lukas (Happy Cog)
- Christian Schwartz (Commercial Type)
The conference will be held at the Corn Exchange in Brighton on Friday 28th June 2013. Tickets are only £150 and are on sale now.
Expert Workshops
For the first time, we’re running hands-on workshops in the run-up to the conference. These include Mark Boulton on designing grid systems and Jeremy Keith on responsive design. We also have local printing legend Lionel Perks running intimate letterpress workshops (only four places left at time of writing).
Student Typeface Exhibition
We are also delighted to announce the first international student type exhibition, showcasing the best of student type design from around the world. We’ll be presenting the diversity of emerging designers’ work in both web and print specimens, along with a take-home catalogue recording the thriving landscape of design education today.
What’s more, Fontdeck is kindly sponsoring a limited number of half-price student tickets for the conference.
New York, New York, New York!
