As web sites and apps demand a richer, more nuanced form of interaction, content and engagement designers are often left trying to capture the mess of ideas and information they want to use. Wireframes are evolving into the ideal tool for defining, designing and documenting the ‘stuff’ designers work with and this workshop will show you how.
Perfect for user experience designers, information architects, visual designers, front-end coders or producers, we’ll cover everything from plotting a site out on sticky notes to presenting your great and glorious wireframe to the people (and what to do with it after that).
To give you a taste of what wireframes can do for you, we’ll be designing a set of wireframes for the latest and greatest social network. By the end of the workshop you’ll know how to use wireframes as a design aid, a documentation methodology and a usability tool. You will have gathered best practices for using wireframes in your process, best bets for efficient use of wireframes and a whole host of design tips along the way.
