The prestigious Wirehive 100 Awards showcase digital excellence and recognise outstanding work from agencies in the southern counties based outside of London. The award nomination follows Clearleft’s ranking at No.9 in the 2017 Wirehive 100 League Table for the best digital talent in the UK’s southeast.
The work we did with Virgin Holidays, over a period of 18 months, helped them build their own design capability and begin to change the way the company approaches approach digital.
Their in-house digital design team has doubled in size, with Clearleft supporting the coaching, training, mentoring and recruitment of new team members, in diverse roles from Product Design, User Experience and Customer Insights & Research.
In collaboration with the Technology leadership team, Clearleft played a vital role in ensuring that the voice of design now has a seat at the table – both in terms of the future shape of digital at Virgin Holidays, and the decision-making processes behind their digital strategy.
Since our partnership with Virgin Holidays began, sales generated via the web have grown faster and larger than ever, increasing by 8% over 2 years, to the point where the web is now is now the largest sales channel.
Winners of the Wirehive 100 awards will be announced at the ceremony on 11th October at the Guildhall in Southampton. Fingers crossed!
