It’s a quiet week for most of us at 68 Middle Street: Jeremy’s been event-aparting in Boston, and 5 members of staff are still squirreling away in sunny Copenhagen.
Graham and Andy Parker met with the guys behind Fightlab, a grass roots gaming event which has been getting some great press. They’re going to be working towards Fightlab’s first national ranked games tournament, being held here at 68 Middle St at the end of June.
Kate’s now working hard to get UX London ready: only four weeks to go (fortunately she has some help from Alis).
Ant is plotting a flying robot event. For those who don’t know; he used to do this sort of thing for the BBC (but on his first week with us he lost one in a tree...).
Sophie is designing & planning to improve the pods and meeting rooms - acoustics, soundproofing, interior design. We’ve been slowing improving 68 Middle St, but there’s lots more we want to do.
Rich is working on a secret product for Wellcome, this week involving sourcing videos of people having teeth extracted under hypnosis (which he says was... nice).
Viv has been organising the next Ladies that UX event on 20th May.
Design wise, Ben White has been giving the building’s website a new lick of paint, while Mikey is working on the new Silverback design. We’re really excited to show you where Silverback is going, but we’re not ready yet!
I’ve been playing with framer.js and working on my UX London double-act with Rob Boynes (hence slightly nervous about this blog post!)
