dConstruct holding page up

Whilst we’re still busy making decisions about this year’s dConstruct, we have added a holding page with the dates for your diaries.

This will be the fifth dConstruct which makes us all feel very happy, if a little old. We really enjoy running the conference and are really chuffed that so many of you like to come along each year. As always, we’ll be working hard to bring you the best dConstruct experience. We will have two days of workshops on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd September and then the conference itself on Friday 4th so add these dates to your diary now.

Keep your eyes peeled for the line up and ticket sale dates, we’ll post them here first.

CSS Mastery Workshop

We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be running a CSS Mastery workshop here in Brighton on Thursday 16th April.

Andy Budd has refreshed and updated his CSS workshop so that it gleams with up-to-date shine. The workshop is aimed at intermediate developers who understand the basics of CSS and have been using it for several months but would now like to add some polish. You’ll learn how to set up the foundations, how to plan, organise and maintain your CSS and helpful hints on bugs, hacks and filters plus a whole host more.

We’ve got Early Bird tickets at £345.00 + VAT until 16th March, so hurry and bagsie your place now. After this date prices rise to £395.00 + VAT.

See the workshop page for more information and booking details.

New sponsor for UX London

We’re pleased to announce new premier sponsor UserZoom who will be joining us at UX London this year.

UserZoom are an international user experience research firm who specialise in remote testing. They perform task orientated studies over a website, with hundreds of users participating from their home or office. Their product, the Self-Serve Edition, allows UX teams and consultants to perform their own usability projects whilst providing the perfect tool to cost-effectively quantify and measure usability and user experience. With offices in the USA and Spain, we’re really glad that UserZoom will be travelling to London to join us this June.

Don Norman has also confirmed his brand new talk, In Favour of Complexity. It’ll be a fantastic end to the first day and we’re really looking forward to hearing it.
