Tickets for this year's dConstruct went on sale two days ago. Sales have been brisk, breezy and frisky. Two-thirds of the tickets have already been sold.
If you haven't got yours, you should grab one. First of all, it's going to be a fantastic day, thanks to the excellent speakers. Secondly, it's going to be a fantastic week to be in Brighton. dConstruct is proceeded by Reasons To Be Creative and followed by Maker Faire. This is all part of the rather wonderful Brighton Digital Festival. Oh, and the day before dConstruct, the superb Improving Reality event will be happening again this year.
But the main event is definitely dConstruct--it's going to be a lot of fun.
And don't forget that we're also offering some full-day workshops. On September 4th, there's Seb doing CreativeJS. Then on Thursday, September 5th--the day before the dConstruct conference proper--you can choose between Aaron and Luke, both of whom can teach you how to make apps for a multi-device web. Touch choice!
Remember, if you buy a ticket to a dConstruct workshop, you automatically get a complementary pass to the conference day. Bargain!
Do not dilly, dally, or delay. See you in September.
Since we announced we will be moving into our new home in the autumn, work has been continuing apace on refurbishing the derelict building in Middle Street, Brighton.
Tickets for this year's dConstruct go on sale on Tuesday, May 21st at 11am. I'm telling you this because, believe me, you won't want to miss out on this year's event.
With a bank holiday on Monday, last week was another short one. But with Andy B, Andy D and Kate back in the office, there is still plenty to report back on.
In the run-up to this year’s Ampersand web typography conference we're offering two fantastic, highly practical, full-day workshops.
Thirteen. Unlucky for some, but not for me! Although responsibility for May's weeknotes has fallen upon my shoulders, Andy, our excellent intern, graciously pulled this week's together without me even asking.
Weeks go by way too quickly around here.
Recovering from a fantastic UX London in the best way possible, Kate is taking some well-deserved time off.
We're really excited to announce that Matter – the scientific publishing start-up we worked on with our friend Bobbie Johnson – has been acquired by Obvious Corporation. Here's our part of the story.
This week was almost entirely monopolised by some conference called UX London. And what a conference it was.
Pattern portfolios are a great way to deliver modular, flexible and responsive design systems. They also offer huge benefits to both clients and technical partners when compared to traditional page-by-page static page template deliverables.
Judging by the amount of activity in the Clearleft office this week, you'd think we were already packing up to move into our new office.
We’re really pleased to announce the full schedule for this year’s Ampersand web typography conference.
It’s been a shorter week than usual, what with the Easter holidays about to kick off. The Clearlefties are dispersing to celebrate the feast of the Zombie Christ in their own individual ways.
The big news this week is somewhat bittersweet: Harry is leaving us for pastures new and the undiscovered country of freelancing. We’ll miss having him around.
