This is my favourite week of the year. It’s the week when Brighton bursts into life as the its month-long Digital Festival kicks off.
In the week where Kate Bush began a sold out installation in London to a sold out first night of freeloaders and a few fans with too much money, we’ve been hiding from the rain.
It’s exactly two weeks until dConstruct. I AM EXCITE!!!11ELEVEN!! If you’ve already got your ticket: excellent! If not, you can still get one. It’s not too late.
Super Turbo Hyper Ultra CHampionship Edition HD Remix Deluxe
This Saturday a team from Clearleft rode the 6-hour Brighton Big Dog mountain bike race, placing well. Meanwhile Mark ran the Berlin 100 Miler, smashing the course record in the process.
Some say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one.
The countdown to dConstruct 2014 has well and truly begun. It’s just three and a half weeks away, and I am very excited.
Here at Clearleft, we’ve been doing some extra work with Code for America following on from our initial deliverables. This makes me happy for a number of reasons:
More trains, plains and automobiles
I’ve published the schedule for this year’s dConstruct. Curating an event like this doesn’t stop when the speakers have been finalised. Figuring out the flow of the day is another aspect that I really wanted to get right. It’s like making a mixtape.
It started off with a bang, then the sweet smell of petrichor permeated the air. Call the 5-0!
With Brighton Digital Festival getting closer, it's time to announce a special event. Go-Karting, Clearleft style.
Another busy couple of weeks at Clearleft HQ, with —for once— most of the team located back in Brighton meaning we were able to enjoy the weather and some cold beers together. Hooray.
If you're coming to this year's dConstruct here in Brighton on September 5th--and you really, really should--then consider sticking around for the weekend.
This year's dConstruct will be the tenth one. Ten! That's a cause for celebration.
