There’s been a whole series of events going on in Brighton this month under the banner of Spring Forward, a month-long celebration of the role of women in digital culture that runs throughout March in parallel with Women’s History Month.
The eagle-eyed amongst will have noticed an omission from last week: no weeknotes! Did you spot this deliberate error? If so, well done! You can claim your prize right now by reading this bumper double edition. Just for you, it's the first ever ...Fortnight Notes.
I’ve had a busy week attending tech events at 68 Middle Street to celebrate the role of women in the digital industry. Spring Forward, timed alongside Women’s history month is a month-long series of events which celebrate, inspire and encourage women in the digital industry.
If I lived and worked in San Fransisco, the current “death of the agency” debate may have slightly more poignancy than it does in the UK. San Francisco and the wider Silicon Valley is undoubtedly living through a huge tech bubble, and has been for some time. Public speaking & jabberwocks, new project wins and Ant's departure.

It's post-Hack farm week. You might think everyone would be in a bit of a stupor, but not here. Not in Clearleft HQ, where it's all been kicking off.
At the beginning of the month I spent my first week with the Clearleft team in the English countryside for one of the annual Hack Farms. It's like Downton Abbey and Silicon Valley had a baby.
This year's Hack Farm spawned a couple of Strava-based projects, including one building on the Strava API to help provide users with some interesting historical reporting on their activities.
Strava's become pretty popular in the Clearleft towers. At this year's Hack Farm we explored a concept of making Strava better using a heads up display and a little imagination.
