Clearleft helped Riverford re-imagine their brand so that it would function perfectly online.

Riverford have always had a very strong focus on design, producing vibrant packaging and promotional material that mixed strong illustration, beautiful photography and bold colours with highly tactile paper stock.

In stark contrast to their printed material, their website had become rather tired and out of date, and they asked Clearleft to breathe new life into their site.

Taking existing marketing collateral as our starting point, we re-imagined their brand to function perfectly in the online space. Working through numerous iterations until we reached the perfect composition, we created over 30 different page templates along with a flexible design language suitable for many more.

Key to the success of this project was understanding the users journey through the site and ensuring that a technically complicated ordering process was presented in as simple and easy a way as possible. As such, we focused heavily on the presentation of the products and their associated calls to action. With new user acquisition and satisfaction up dramatically, the results speak for themselves!
